Responsibilities
- Work at a fast-pace set by the machine operator in order to adhere to production schedule.
- Absorb and apply proper techniques to set up, operate, and clean the slotting, feed, and die cut sections on the machine accurately.
- Maintain vigilance over board quality for any defects and promptly inform the operator about any issues.
- Complete all necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Be open to learning and progressing within the company’s structure, and willing to cross-train on other machines.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy, calculate percentages, measurements, volumes, and rates, and apply high school math concepts.
- Basic technical skills, including a working knowledge of equipment design, product layouts, production specifications, product quality standards, and quality control processes.
- The ability to read and understand factory masters.
- A willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
