Machine Helper-3rd Shift

Responsibilities

  • Work at a fast-pace set by the machine operator in order to adhere to production schedule.
  • Absorb and apply proper techniques to set up, operate, and clean the slotting, feed, and die cut sections on the machine accurately.
  • Maintain vigilance over board quality for any defects and promptly inform the operator about any issues.
  • Complete all necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Be open to learning and progressing within the company’s structure, and willing to cross-train on other machines.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and maintaining good housekeeping practices.

Qualifications

  • A strong desire to learn and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy, calculate percentages, measurements, volumes, and rates, and apply high school math concepts.
  • Basic technical skills, including a working knowledge of equipment design, product layouts, production specifications, product quality standards, and quality control processes.
  • The ability to read and understand factory masters.
  • A willingness to comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and maintaining good housekeeping practices.
