What You’ll Do
- Assist the Machine Operator with setup and operation of slotting, feeding, and die-cutting equipment
- Monitor board quality and report defects such as loose liner, warp, or incorrect dimensions
- Sort product as needed to help maintain machine productivity
- Work at the pace set by the Machine Operator and support adherence to the production schedule
- Cross-train on other machines and be willing to move into Operator roles when needed
- Complete production-related paperwork accurately and on time
- Submit maintenance requests and proactively care for equipment
- Follow all company policies, safety standards, and housekeeping guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Who You Are

- Able to read and follow work orders and production instructions in English
- Able to use a tape measure and apply basic high school-level math
- Observant and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to product quality

Preferred qualifications
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting
What To Expect On The Job
- You’ll be on your feet for most of your shift. This includes standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and regularly moving up to 40 pounds
- You will work near moving mechanical parts and in an environment where noise, vibration, and airborne particles are common
- The facility is not climate controlled, which means it can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, protective footwear, and safety glasses must be worn at all times
