Responsibilities
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes and procedures
- Read and understand written work instructions, engineering drawings and other manufacturing documentation
- Machine operating
- Comply with policies and guidelines
- Complete all related paperwork
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
- Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to
The Person
- Previous experience within a similar role
- Excellent understanding of the English language – both oral and written
- Ability to work under pressure
- Eye for detail
The Package
- Competitive temporary to permanent assignment
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 2pm
- Part time Administrator required to manage the engineering office
- Monday – Thursday 8am – 4.30pm, Friday 8am – 2pm
- Experienced administrator with an understanding gained from the manufacturing sector
- Working knowledge of software packages including Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- Attention to detail
- Clear communicator with a good telephone manner
The Role
- Set and operate CNC machines
- Generation of CNC programmes using Solidworks
The Person
- Apprentice trained mechanical engineer with experience of programming and operating milling machines, CNC lathes who has the ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong engineering background spent within ‘engineered to order’ environment
