Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift up to 75 pounds.
- Work at varying heights to assemble machinery.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, crouching, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- If required as part of the job, meet specific physical requirements for cab crane operation as outlined on the Cab Crane job description addendum.
Responsibilities
- Fasten and install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools, rivet guns, and welding equipment.
- Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, machine capabilities, and conformance to customer specifications.
- Lay out and drill, ream, tap, or cut parts for assembly.
- Position and align components for assembly manually or using cranes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and specifications manuals.
- Remove rough spots, and smooth surfaces to fit, trim, or clean parts, using hand tools and power tools.
- Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
- Set and verify parts clearances.
- Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers.
- Maintain and lubricate parts and components.
- Comply with all Butech Bliss safety rules.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Must possess his/her own tools.
- Problem analysis and solving skills that display an attention to detail.
- Must be dependable and able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to work overtime.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in large complex machine assembly.
- Experience with overhead cranes and hoists.
- Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
- Understanding of hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
