ROLE OVERVIEW

The Site Coordinator (SC) plays a pivotal role in driving excellence within our LYFT programs. They serve as the linchpin, skillfully managing the intricate details of our initiatives and overseeing day-to-day operations at the program site. Their expertise is vital in upholding the highest standard of program delivery. Positioned at the forefront, the Site Coordinator actively shapes the program's success. Reporting directly to the LYFT Program Director, they work in close collaboration with school leaders and PHMC staff to envision and actualise enriching programs. The core mission is to create a vibrant environment that seamlessly integrates leadership development, essential life skills, service learning, and cutting-edge technology education.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the LYFT OST site, ensuring smooth execution of all program activities.
  • Foster a student-centred learning environment that integrates leadership, healthy relationships, life skills development, service learning, career exploration, and technology learning.
  • Develop and maintain program schedules for staff and students, ensuring compliance with Funders' requirements.
  • Supervise and support program staff, including up to 3 Program Leaders, 2 Instructors, and 3 Academic Specialists.
  • Enforce all PHMC policies and procedures at the site level to ensure a safe and productive environment.
  • Ensure timely submission of all program data, including student attendance, staff attendance, and student applications.
  • Collaborate with the Program Director to develop a structured curriculum incorporating project-based learning activities.
  • Implement a comprehensive recruitment plan to achieve program enrollment goals.
  • Participate in local school-based staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
  • Plan and execute a dynamic end-of-year event to showcase participant achievements.
  • Submit all required reports and narratives to the Assistant Director and Program Director by established deadlines.
  • Attend all mandatory training sessions and events to ensure compliance with PHMC policies and requirements.
  • Travel for out-of-state, overnight professional development opportunities and conferences as necessary.
  • Perform additional agency-related duties or special projects as directed by the Program Director and/or Assistant Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with children and/or adolescents, preferably in a high school setting.
  • High school diploma/GED required; college degree preferred.
