Transportation Coordinator - Part-Time
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for parent transportation inquiries, concerns, and requests.
- Communicate route assignments, schedule updates, service changes, delays, and transportation-related notifications to families.
- Manage transportation registrations, ridership updates, and stop change requests in accordance with school policy.
- Cookordinate with the transportation provider and school administration to resolve issues and ensure service continuity.
- Maintain accurate transportation records, contact information, and communication logs.
- Aid in the implementation and consistent application of transportation policies and procedures.
- Assist with emergency communications and transportation incident follow-up when necessary.
- Monitor parent feedback and identify opportunities to improve communication and service delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond professionally to families.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in school operations, transportation, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and student information or communication systems.
Schedule
Part-time, approximately 20-30 hours per week, with increased availability during transportation enrollment, the start of the school year, and major route changes.
Reports To
Head of Operations or designee.
