LVN - mental health

Responsibilities

• Providing basic nursing care to jail inmates
• Administering IV and oral medications
• Providing health education
• Observing and documenting health status
• Collaborating with security staff
• Ensuring program clients receive high quality health services

Qualifications

• You are a good fit for this position if you are a Licensed Vocational Nurse and have experience working in a mental health setting.

About the role

This program provides mental health evaluation and treatment services to adults who are justice-involved and experiencing mental illness.

Work setting

You will work onsite at the Rock Mountain Detention Facility at 446 Alta Road in San Diego, CA 92158.

Schedule

You will work as needed - per diem - on weekends.

Pay

$30.00 to $36.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
