About the role
The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides skilled nursing care to adult patients in their homes, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments of patient condition
- Deliver prescribed nursing services
- Monitor physiologic and psychosocial changes
- Document diagnoses and patient data accurately
- Provide appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment
- Follow prescribed orders and document care accurately
- Identify signs of physiological or psychosocial changes
Qualifications
- Current LVN license in the practicing state
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray clearance
- BLS certification
- Preferably one year of professional nursing experience
