Luxury Greeter/Store Host

About the role

The Guest Host is a full-time position at Perigold, a luxury home goods retailer. We are seeking a collaborative and engaging individual to join our team and be a part of the launch of our first physical retail stores. The position reports to the Assistant Store Manager, Guest Experience and is part of a global Asset Protection team.

Responsibilities

• Luxury Guest Greeting & Orientation: Welcome and engage guests at the main entrance, providing tailored guidance and directions through the showroom. Seamlessly transition guests to the appropriate team members for specialized assistance.
• Store Support & Team Collaboration: Communicate with sales and design teams to manage guest flow and facilitate smooth customer handoffs. Assist with general showroom upkeep and organization.
• Safety & Store Awareness: Maintain awareness of all activity near the entrance and throughout the front-of-house area. Identify and communicate potential safety-related concerns to leadership. Address immediate safety concerns and communicate details to management.

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer experience in a retail or other customer-facing setting.
• Flexibility availability (including mornings, nights, weekends, some holidays).
• Excellent customer service skills, including written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of Google Systems including email, Google Sheets, and other Google platforms.
• Energetic and optimistic attitude. Ready to take on new challenges.

• Stand, walk, talk, and hear frequently.
• Handle, feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Sit occasionally.
• Climb or balance occasionally.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs regularly, frequently, or occasionally.

Compensation & Benefits
