Lunchroom Server

About the role

District 97 seeks a dedicated and dynamic individual to serve lunch to students, approximately 3.5 hours a day. The ideal candidate will support the district's equity commitments as expressed in Board Policy 7:12: Ensuring Racial and Educational Equity.

Essential Functions

• Aid in setting up for lunch
• Serve meals and milk to students
• Clean tables, chairs, and benches after each meal
• Assist with washing trays and silverware (if applicable)
• Assist with cleaning the kitchen and equipment after lunch
• Follow all safety and sanitation rules

Qualifications

? High School Diploma

Physical Requirements

• Perform light work which requires exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects
• Close visual acuity, frequent talking, hearing, walking, and standing required
• Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling
• Significant fine finger dexterity required
• The job is performed in non-hazardous environments and a clean atmosphere
• The position may require indoor and outdoor supervision during varying temperatures and climatic conditions
