Lucida Host/Room Service - FT/PT

About the role

The Restaurant Host / Room Service Delivery Attendant serves as a key guest-facing team member responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences in both the restaurant and throughout the property. This position welcomes and seats restaurant guests, manages dining reservations, coordinates guest flow, and prepares, delivers, and retrieves in-room food and beverage orders. The role requires frequent movement between the restaurant, kitchen, guest rooms, and other areas of the property.

Responsibilities

Restaurant Host Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating assignments.
• Escort guests to tables and provide information regarding restaurant services and menu offerings.
• Answer guest questions and address concerns in a courteous and timely manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the host stand and public dining areas.
• Coordinate with servers and management to ensure efficient guest seating and service.

Room Service Delivery Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms throughout the property.
• Ensure orders are accurate, complete, and presented according to service standards.
• Interact directly with guests during delivery, responding to requests and providing exceptional customer service.
• Retrieve trays, carts, dishes, and service items from guest floors and rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of room service stations, carts, and delivery equipment.
• Communicate guest requests and service issues promptly to management.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service, hospitality, restaurant, or hotel experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
