LPN Weekend - Neurology - Days - Full-Time

About the role

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a Neurology unit, providing patient care under supervision and maintaining professional accountability.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, monitor, and manage patients with complex neurological conditions such as stroke, seizures, and brain injuries.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
• Assist with mobility, medication management, and safety precautions.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience.
• Valid LPN licensure and Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and assisting with patient mobility.
• New or experienced LPNs considered.

Skills

• Strong assessment, monitoring, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Adherence to licensure and certification requirements.
