About the role
Join a compassionate healthcare team as an LPN in a Neurology unit.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or alongside Registered Nurses.
- Monitor patients with moderate to high acuity, including neurological assessments and management of complex conditions such as stroke, seizures, and traumatic brain injury.
- Assist with mobility, medication management, fall prevention, swallowing precautions, and coordinating multidisciplinary care.
- Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and ensure quality care delivery.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure.
- Current LPN license and BLS certification; IV certification for Missouri LPNs within three months if not already held.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist with patient mobility.
- Ability to meet state board requirements for licensure.
