Requirements • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. • Current licensure to practice practical nursing in Tennessee. • BLS certification completed prior to going to the unit/department and maintained. • Knowledge of general nursing principles and practice skills. • Knowledge of organizational functions, policies, and regulations. • Knowledge of current trends and new developments in nursing. • Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Preferred • Urology Certification from Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates or Certification Board for Urologic Nurses and Associates. • Experience in a urology setting.

The individual must be able to provide the care needed as described in the unit's policies and procedures.
