LPN - Surgical - Full Time

Position Overview This role involves utilizing the nursing process to deliver patient care under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights, and ensuring confidentiality. Key Responsibilities Provide care for diverse surgical and medical patients, including those undergoing or recovering from procedures such as bariatric, kidney, and abdominal surgeries. Support patients with GI conditions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including educators, PCA/PCTs, case managers, therapists, and dietitians. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with successful licensure.Maintain current LPN license and meet state requirements.Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific certifications may be required.Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform manual tasks including reaching, bending, and kneeling.
