LPN Shift Supervisor CAS 3pm-11:30pm/11pm-7:30am

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LPN Supervisor to oversee, mentor and nurture a team of nurses, HHA’s, resident care aides and medication technicians in the busy Wellness/Resident Services Center of our luxury assisted living community. Acting as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, you will provide caring and attentive help to residents in managing their activities of daily living (ADLs) as well as in the administration of their medications — all while leading the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness. Your role is essential to the care and safety of residents who choose to call The Bristal home.

Responsibilities

• Follow all policies and procedures, and adhere to the instructions of the Director of Wellness
• Provide staff supervision and medication oversight in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication administration
• Lead the team in caring for residents with skill and genuine kindness

Requirements

• Active LPN certification
• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
• Genuine desire to improve the quality of life of residents
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia (a plus)
• Caring, reliable and observant with an understanding of MAR’s and doctors’ orders
• Excellent prioritization, multi-tasking and independent working skills
