LPN Shift Supervisor 3:00p.m.-11:15p.m. Tuesday

$10,000 sign-on bonus for this full-time position (Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00 p.m.–11:15 p.m.) at the Gurwin Jewish: Fay J. Lindner Residences, a 201-apartment assisted-living community within the Gurwin Family of Healthcare Services on Long Island, NY.

As the LPN Shift Supervisor, you will embody the passion and commitment required to deliver the ultimate care for our residents and continue our reputation of providing the gold standard of excellence in assisted living. This role is ideal for a caring, compassionate professional with excellent nursing skills and strong leadership capabilities. New graduates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for the Wellness Office in the absence of the Director of Resident Services.
• Supervise personal care services rendered by Gurwin Jewish: Fay J. Lindner Residences staff.
• Implement standards of care and policy and procedures for the Wellness Department.
• Coordinate and manage all Assisted Living Aides.
• Apprise family of changes in resident health and behavior.
• Responsible for control of medication and documentation of medication.
• Supervise daily shift logs to ensure compliance.

Requirements

• Current valid NYS LPN license with knowledge of geriatric nursing.
• Must adhere to the Department of Health Regulations as they pertain to Assisted Living Facilities.
• Previous supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently in an active Assisted Living Community.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong relationship-building ability, and effective leadership.
