About the role

A licensed practical nurse with a certificate of completion is required. The candidate must have IV certification and experience triaging patients, expediting referrals, and maintaining detailed records.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients
• Expedite patient referrals to specialty offices
• Answer patient and specialty office calls
• Complete referral requests
• Maintain ongoing tracking and documentation on referrals
• Work independently and maintain a superior work ethic
• Ensure referrals are addressed in a timely manner
• Remind patients of their appointments

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nurse Degree: Certificate of Completion
• IV certification
• General computer skills: Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Experience in healthcare: 1 year preferred
• Nursing experience: 1 year preferred
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN or LPN) certification preferred

Qualifications

Must have a completed license and be ready to start work immediately. The position requires working on-site at the patient type mentioned.
