LPN/RN Unit Manager

Job Duties

• Maintains facility clinical systems to facilitate quality resident care.
• Delivers basic nursing care to residents according to care plans.
• Directs and develops nursing staff to ensure high-quality care.
• Conducts rounds to assess resident conditions and clinical practices.
• Documents nursing care notes accurately and promptly.
• Administers medications and IVs as per the care plan.
• Makes suggestions for treatment plans based on resident needs.
• Monitors resident behavior, vital signs, and symptoms.
• Reports findings to nursing supervisors.
• Monitors residents' skin to prevent pressure sores.
• Promotes a positive team environment by recognizing staff.
• Maintains schedule adherence and provides corrective action.
• Evaluates job performance and provides feedback as needed.

Requirements

• Current LPN or RN license in state.
• At least one year of experience as an LPN or RN in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Knowledge of Matrixcare preferred.
