About the Role
Join MGA Homecare and provide specialized care to patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals. This role involves administering prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion, ensuring patient comfort and safety. You will also educate patients and families on disease management, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Responsibilities
- Treat patients according to the active plan of care provided by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies with precision and compassion.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care meticulously.
- Educate patients and families on the disease process, self-care techniques, and prevention strategies.
Requirements
- Current North Carolina Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Home health experience (preferred).
