LPN Risk Management Coordinator

DUTIES: Risk Management Coordinator will oversee facility risk management programs and monitor clinical operations to ensure patient safety and quality of careCommunicate with physicians, licensed practice nurses, facility leadership, and other medical professionals as neededCollaborate with IDT Team to review incident reports, evaluate clinical care practices, and implement risk mitigation plansAssist with coordination of safety audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance proceduresUpdate risk management records, incident reports, and safety logs as neededRespond to inquiries, concerns and complaints from patients and their families or guardiansTrack and maintain clinical risk data and safety protocols along with other staff membersRound the unit to ensure all residents clinical and environmental safety needs are being appropriately met QUALIFICATIONS: Active LPN License required in NJ.Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience requiredPrevious Unit Manager or Nursing Leadership experience preferredStrong knowledge of state/federal healthcare regulations, quality assurance, and compliance standardsProven ability to handle incident investigations, root cause analysis, and risk mitigationExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to collaborate effectively with the IDT team, patients, families, and department heads
