Position Summary

The LPN Residential Treatment Facility is an excellent opportunity for licensed nursing team members to provide exceptional and comprehensive behavioral health care. As an LPN at MultiCare, you will sharpen your independent decision-making skills, nurture your service-oriented characteristics, and allow your interpersonal skills to thrive. Working in collaboration with residents, resident families/significant others, Physicians/Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), resident care staff, leadership and community partners, you will ensure the best possible resident health care outcomes and experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct resident care utilizing the nursing process in accordance with the Washington State Practical Nurse Act
  • Commit to professional development as an integral part of nursing practice
  • Collaborate with the care team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, resident experience, and cost reduction
  • Foster a learning environment for residents/families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of residents from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Greater Lakes Mental Health is part of MultiCare’s Behavioral Health Network, serving more than 10,000 individuals across Pierce County each year. Providing mental health and substance use disorder treatment for adults, children and families with Medicaid coverage, Greater Lakes operates six convenient locations, including a 16-bed inpatient facility for voluntary and involuntary care. With experienced teams and robust training, caregivers help deliver recovery-oriented, trauma-informed care.

Pay and Benefits

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $30.40 - $43.75 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
