About the Role

The Regional Float Pool LPN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients across multiple facilities. This role utilizes theoretical knowledge and adheres to nursing standards while floating between designated hospitals and providing quality bedside care in diverse units such as Med/Surg, ICU, and Emergency.

Responsibilities

• Float between designated hospitals to deliver consistent, high-quality patient care.
• Provide bedside care in various units, including Med/Surg, ICU, Emergency, and others.
• Collaborate with diverse healthcare teams to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license.
• Minimum one year of recent bedside LPN experience (two years for critical care).
• Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS, PALS (depending on unit), and IV certification.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform patient handling tasks.
