LPN - Private Duty Nursing

About the role

This position is for a Novice Nurse (Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse) with less than 12 months of experience, participating in a specialized training program.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor outcomes, and document progress.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and report to supervisors or physicians.
• Document care coordination and physician collaboration.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment and environment.

Qualifications and Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Active LPN/LVN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• PPD or chest X-ray as applicable.
