About the role

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care in an inpatient setting, addressing physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs. They contribute to assessments, reinforce patient and family education, and assist with discharge planning. The LPN collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, participates in evidence‑based decision‑making, and mentors new staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Perform treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures per policies.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Coordinate with physicians and team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in unit‑based decision‑making and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide mentorship and preceptorship to new staff and students.

Qualifications

Schedule
