LPN - Physician Practice (Full & Part Time)

About the role

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be an essential part of the patient care team, providing outpatient nursing services to both healthy individuals and those with health issues. The role involves documenting patient care, collecting vital signs and health data, assisting with surgical procedures and diagnostics, and supporting healthcare providers in assessing patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Accurate documentation of patient information and assessments
• Preparing patients for procedures and tests
• Assisting healthcare providers with evaluations and treatment planning
• Monitoring risk factors associated with patient age, size, and medication use
• Evaluating supplies, equipment, and facilities for quality and safety

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduation from an accredited LPN program
• Current New York State LPN license and registration
• Certification in Infection Control and BLS (can be obtained upon hire)
• Strong communication skills, efficient task completion, and ability to respond to emergencies
• Commitment to professional development and staying current with nursing practices
