Role Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a senior living community. Responsibilities include administering medications, conducting resident assessments, updating care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure residents' safety, dignity, and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalized nursing care per care plans
  • Monitor residents' physical and psychosocial health
  • Administer medications and conduct resident assessments
  • Update care plans and respond to emergencies
  • Coordinate care with physicians, families, and care teams
  • Participate in quality assurance and compliance activities
  • Support staff training and ensure regulatory adherence
  • Maintain compliant documentation and adhere to regulatory standards
  • Support health promotion initiatives

Requirements

  • Current LPN license or equivalent as per state regulations
  • Minimum of two years' nursing experience, preferably in assisted living or long-term care
  • Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to emergencies
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer applications
  • Ability to lift or assist residents as needed
