LPN - Per Diem/Flex

About the role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a licensed RN, ensuring professional accountability and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care across departments
• Maintains patient rights
• Adapts to various shifts and facilities
• Floats between departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical, across multiple locations
• Deliver safe, effective patient care
• Collaborate with healthcare teams
• Uphold patient rights in a flexible, incentivized PRN role with various shift options
• Available on short notice and handle shift cancellations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Active LPN license
• Recent bedside experience (minimum one year for Med Surg, two years for other specialties)
• Certifications include BLS; ACLS, PALS, and IV certification preferred based on department
• Physical ability to lift 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks

Skills

• Flexibility in scheduling
• Ability to adapt to last-minute shifts
• Experience with Epic systems preferred
• Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements
