LPN Patient Services Coordinator

About the role

As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes. This includes assisting with daily activities, medication management, and helping patients maintain independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
• Help patients with meal preparation and nutrition
• Monitor patients' health and report changes to healthcare providers
• Manage medications and assist with administering them
• Support patients in completing daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Ensure patient safety and comfort

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Passionate about providing compassionate care

Qualifications

• Experience in home health care or related field preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
• Ability to manage time effectively
