About the role
As a Home Health Aide at Amedisys, you will provide compassionate care to patients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, medication management, and overall health support.Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene and grooming
- Help patients with meal preparation and nutrition
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Administer medications as prescribed
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or related field preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to perform tasks in various environments
Skills
