LPN - Orthopedic Neuro - Full Time

Role Overview

Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care under supervision or the guidance of a licensed professional. Responsible for maintaining patient rights, confidentiality, and coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.

Unit Details

Supports a 24-bed Ortho-Neuro unit caring for orthopedic, stroke, and neurological conditions, with opportunities for NIH Stroke Certification.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent education and licensure.
  • Current LPN license in the state of practice, with responsibility for maintaining licensure.
  • Certifications (may be required based on the role/unit): ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., BLS, LPN-IV Certification, or other unit-specific certifications.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly.
  • Prolonged standing, walking, and physical movements such as reaching, bending, and kneeling.
