LPN or MA - Cape Care for Women
JOBSUMMARY
Performs a variety of patient care activities and assists the provider and nursing staff to maintain the highest standard practice of care in accordance with state licensure regulations.

REQUIREMENTS
- Type: PRN or As Needed
- Typical Hours: Days vary Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm
- LPN Education: Graduate from an accredited school of practical or vocational nursing program.
- Certification & Licensures: Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Missouri. BLS certification.
- Experience:
- Skill in taking vital signs, history, attention to detail, patient education and instruction, and multi-tasking.
- Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with patients, physicians, staff and the public.
- Ability to maintain quality control standard and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Communicates clearly, as well as understands and responds to detailed oral and written instructions.
- Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development.
- Efficiently utilizes diagnostic equipment, electronic systems for ordering, medical records and other common computer programs.
EDUCATION
- MA Education: High School Diploma or equivalent-required
- Certification & Licensures: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)-preferred BLS Certification- required within 90 days of hire
- Experience: Skill in taking vital signs Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff and public Ability to maintain quality control standards and react calmly and effectively in emergency situations Ability to communicate clearly, as well as understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions Basic Computer Skills-required Ability to learn and perform diagnostic testing/procedures such as x-rays and non-waived testing
