Licensed Practical Nurse - Shift 7a-7p

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements
• Functions within the framework of their license and the policy and procedures of the organization
• Demonstrates professional growth and accountability
• Guides ancillary staff
• Collaborates with other health care professionals in the provision of quality nursing care
• Bleeds compassion, caring and technologically appropriate competency resulting in holistic care to the patient

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an LPN program
• Nursing Experience: Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting (Preferred)
• Licenses and Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure (Required), BCLS - Basic Life Support (Required), ACLS if working in Emergency Department (Preferred), PALS if working in Emergency Department within 180 Days (Required), LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 Days (Required)
