LPN - MedSurg
About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will be responsible for gathering data, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients within the MedSurg Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. They will ensure continuity of care between shifts by providing direct care and assisting with care given by nursing assistants and supportive staff members. The position also involves participating in patient and family teaching and maintaining the role of patient advocate.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio
- Current BLS certification
- Two (2) or more years of previous experience in rehabilitation nursing, long-term care, or hospital setting (preferred)
