Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements.
- Functions within the framework of their license and the policy and procedures of the organization.
- Demonstrates professional growth and accountability.
- Guides ancillary staff.
- Collaborates with other health care professionals in the provision of quality nursing care.
- Bleeds compassion, caring, and technologically appropriate competency resulting in holistic care to the patient.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an LPN program.
- Required Work Experience: Nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Licenses and Certifications: RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure; BCLS - Basic Life Support; ACLS if working in Emergency Department; PALS if working in Emergency Department.
- Preferred: Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for.
- Completion of applicable certifications within 180 Days for LPNs new to specialty.
