About the role

The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions within their unit’s scope. They maintain accurate documentation, develop individualized care plans, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Conducting initial patient assessments
• Administering medications safely
• Ensuring patient safety measures
• Responding promptly to patient needs
• Delegating tasks to healthcare assistants
• Monitoring patient progress
• Communicating effectively to promote interdisciplinary collaboration

Qualifications

• A College Diploma
• A valid RN license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
