About the role
Provides patient care under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional or RN, utilizing the nursing process to ensure quality care.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating patient care with other departments
- Maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
- Ensuring professional accountability for assigned patients
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with successful licensure
- Current LPN license in the state of practice, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association or completed within 30 days of hire
- LPN-IV certification completed or obtained within 3 months for applicable states
Skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of patient care protocols and confidentiality standards
- Ability to coordinate care effectively across departments
