About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional and spiritual support that directly/indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients/families/significant others.
Responsibilities
- Administer patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse
- Collaborate as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities
- Contribute to the implementation of patient care
- Comply with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures
- Provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to patients, families, and significant others
Requirements
- Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current healthcare provider BLS certification required prior to completion of orientation
- 1 year of inpatient hospital experience as an LPN
Qualifications
- Diploma Program in Nursing

Schedule
Weekends, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
