About the role
The Licensed Practical Nurse administers patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Licensed Practical Nurse collaborates as a member of the nursing team to accomplish patient care activities and contributes to the implementation of patient care. The LPN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, applicable regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The LPN provides physical, emotional, and spiritual support that directly or indirectly impacts patient outcomes and care provided to patients, families, and significant others.
Schedule
One Central Shift: 7 PM – 7:30 AM
36 hours per week / 72 hours per pay period
Requirements
- Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Current healthcare provider BLS certification required prior to completion of orientation
Qualifications
- Diploma from an accredited LPN program
- No prior job-related work experience required
