LPN/MA - Full Time - Orthopedics

About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or direction of a licensed healthcare professional. Maintains accountability for patient care, coordinating with other departments to ensure quality treatment.

Responsibilities

• Implement nursing care plans, monitor patient status, and coordinate with healthcare teams
• Ensure compliance with licensure, certifications, and physical demands of the role

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure
• Current LPN license valid in the state of practice, meeting all Board of Nursing requirements
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or unit-specific credentials as required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks including patient handling and movement

Preferred Skills & Certifications

• IV certification within one year of hire
• Proficiency in reaching, gripping, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
