Responsibilities Include Psychiatric and medical observation and assessmentMedication administration and monitoringResponding to changes in conditionDe-escalation and crisis responseCollaborating with the treatment teamNursing documentation and clinical chartingSupporting a safe and structured therapeutic environmentCommunicating with providers regarding clinical concernsCoordinating medical care when neededShift-to-shift clinical reporting This is a hands-on clinical role where nurses are actively involved in patient care throughout the shift.
