About the role
We are currently seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN)/Treatment Nurse to join our outstanding healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a full range of nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse.
- Admitting, transferring, and discharging residents.
- Conducting daily rounds to observe the resident’s physical and emotional status.
- Medication administration.
- Performing wound care (cleaning, dressing, debridement as ordered).
- Assessing and documenting wound progress and patient condition.
- Educating patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention.
- Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Monitoring resident care provided by unlicensed staff.
- Maintaining the confidentiality of all resident care information.
- Promoting a culture of safety to ensure a healthy practice and living environment.
Requirements
Must have: LVN / LPN with current licensure to practice in the state, strong communication and organizational skills, basic knowledge of computer use or willingness to learn.
Qualifications
Nice to have: Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) environment, nursing experience providing direct care to multiple residents, behavioral care / memory care experience, experience with PointClickCare (PCC), knowledge of wound care techniques and infection control.
