LPN - Long Term Care - Full Time Days

Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsible for delivering professional nursing care to residents in long-term care settings. Under supervision, performs assessments, administers medications and treatments, and evaluates resident status through testing. Demonstrates competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, ensuring resident health, comfort, and safety. Key Duties Include Contributing to resident assessments and care planningProviding technical support and documentation of care and outcomesCommunicating effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team membersRecognizing problems, recommending solutions, and responding to emergent situationsCounseling residents and advocating for their needs Qualifications And Skills Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferredUnencumbered LPN license with multi-state privilegesExperience or clinical hours across the lifespan; IV therapy skills if requiredAbility to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary teamStrong communication, confidentiality, and problem-solving skills Additional information: Completes annual continuing education and maintains required competencies.
