LPN - Long Term Care - Full Time Days

About the role

Provide professional nursing care for residents in a long-term care setting under supervision. Assess residents, administer medications and treatments, and ensure their health, comfort, and safety. Document resident interactions, care outcomes, and maintain accurate records. Support healthcare professionals and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff while maintaining confidentiality. Counsel residents and families on prevention and treatment plans. Perform testing, recognize problems, and respond to emergent situations. Possess knowledge of nursing principles, resident education, and age-specific standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program; associate degree preferred.
• Hold an unencumbered LPN license and meet state-specific requirements, including IV therapy training if applicable.
• Experience or clinical hours in diverse settings preferred.
• Maintain required certifications and complete ongoing education.
