About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing residents' health
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Ensuring their safety and comfort
- Documenting resident interactions
- Monitoring outcomes
- Maintaining effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members
- Performing testing to evaluate residents' status
- Recognizing problems
- Responding effectively to emergent situations
- Contributing to resident education and developing self-care programs under supervision
- Supporting interdisciplinary team efforts
- Maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
- Active LPN license
- Multi-state licensure privileges
- Experience in clinical settings
- Additional skills in IV therapy (if required)
- Ongoing CEU/compliance training
