LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Lead - Neurology

About the role

Provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Clinic RN, including treatments, medication administration, and diagnostic support. Acts as a team member to support patient needs and ensures quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties of a Clinic LPN, serving as a role model for quality patient care
• Obtains and documents patient information, vital signs, and prepares patients for examinations
• Addresses physical, social, and psychological needs of patients and families, reporting changes to the RN
• Reinforces health education, collects lab specimens, and manages related paperwork
• Prepares exam and treatment rooms, administers medications and treatments, and assists with diagnostic and surgical procedures
• Manages IVs, maintains cleanliness of clinical areas, and ensures compliance with health and safety standards
• Participates in staffing coordination, monitors inventory, and supervises supply ordering

Qualifications

Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing, with demonstrated accountability, problem-solving, and teamwork skills. Ability to handle clinical procedures and maintain a safe, clean environment.
