About the role
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide professional nursing care in a long-term care setting.
Responsibilities
- Administering medications and treatments as per care plans
- Monitoring and evaluating residents' health status through testing and observation
- Assisting in resident assessments and responding to emergent situations
- Documenting resident interactions, care, and outcomes
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals and supporting interdisciplinary teams
- Counseling residents and families on prevention and treatment strategies
- Ensuring residents' safety, comfort, and dignity
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with an active LPN license
- Experience with clinical care and, if applicable, IV therapy management
- Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and team members
- Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards
- Continued education and certification maintenance
Schedule
Full-time role with night shifts.
