LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse Float - Convenient Care Central Region

Schedule

• Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
• Monday through Friday: 8:45 am – 8:15 pm
• Saturday & Sunday: 7:45 am – 6:15 pm

Responsibilities

• Provide primary clinical support to the provider, patient, and family to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Follow up on diagnostic testing to ensure completion, accuracy, and filing in the medical record for continuity and quality of care.
• Promote a clean environment and meet qualifications to care for patients in the assigned age range.
• Obtain and document patient medical history, chief complaint, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations.
• Provide direct clinical care as directed by the provider.
• Assist the provider in performing minor surgical and diagnostic procedures.
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens with associated paperwork for accurate and efficient lab studies.
• Execute and document ongoing patient communication, prioritizing provider time and responding to patient needs.
• Administer medications and vaccines, including intradermal and skin testing, under provider direction and within scope of practice.
• Clean and set up examination and treatment rooms, ensuring asepsis, availability of instruments, and patient preparation.

Requirements

• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
