LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - Endocrinology

Responsibilities

• Provide primary clinical support to providers, patients, and families
• Obtain medical histories, vital signs, and prepare patients for examinations
• Assist with minor procedures
• Collect and prepare lab specimens
• Administer medications and vaccines
• Ensure a clean, aseptic environment
• Follow up on diagnostic tests to ensure accuracy and completion
• Promote quality care
• Communicate effectively with patients and providers to facilitate efficient care delivery
• Support provider-led diagnostics
• Ensure patient safety and comfort
• Maintain clinical readiness
• Responsible for documentation
• Infection control
• Patient communication to promote seamless healthcare delivery

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from a specialized nursing training program
• New and experienced LPNs are encouraged to apply
• Ability to perform clinical tasks
• Maintain documentation
• Work collaboratively in a team-oriented ambulatory care setting
