Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As an LPN, you will provide direct nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and maintain accurate medical records. You will also ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and foster a positive and compassionate environment for our residents and staff.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents and oversee CNAs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate medical records and assist with physician rounds
- Foster a positive, compassionate environment for residents and staff
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Assist with all aspects of resident care, including wound care, catheterization, and other nursing procedures
Requirements
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse LPN License (Unencumbered, State of IL)
- CPR Certification (Required)
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (Preferred)
- Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
